Good resources, minor download hiccup

I grabbed the Complete Garden Planner during a seasonal sale. The content is really good, very practical advice for planning my garden layout and crop rotation. I liked how comprehensive it was. The download process was mostly smooth, but the initial email link went to spam, so I had to dig it out. Not a huge deal, but something to note. Customer service was not needed. Overall, the planner is a solid resource, definitely worth the price, though they could make the download link more prominent on the confirmation page.

Great value on the bundle

I'm always looking for ways to save money, so when I saw the ebook bundle deal that included the Vegetable Gardening Ebook and the Seed Starting Guide, I decided to go for it. The combined price was significantly better than buying them separately. I downloaded them right away. The information in both guides is practical and well-organized, and I've already started using tips for my fall planting. It felt like a really good investment for my garden this year.

Loved the chicken guide!

Got the Chicken Keeping Guide for my new flock and it was super helpful! I was a bit overwhelmed starting out, but this guide broke everything down. It felt like chatting with a friend who knows a lot about chickens. Super easy to read and understand. Definitely made my first few weeks with chicks a lot less stressful. Glad I got it.

Comprehensive Sourdough Guide

I recently purchased the Sourdough Bread Guide and was quite impressed. Ordering was straightforward on their website. I received the download link immediately after payment, which was convenient. The guide itself is very thorough, covering everything from starter maintenance to troubleshooting common issues. I appreciated the detailed step-by-step instructions and the clear photos. I tried the No-Knead Sourdough Recipe, and it turned out wonderfully, much better than my previous attempts. Customer support wasn't needed, but the product quality and usability were excellent. This guide really helped me improve my baking.

Anyone know if there's a discount code floating around for the complete garden planner? Don't want to buy it full price if there's a deal coming up.

P Paula 1 month ago
I think sometimes they send codes out in their email newsletter. That's how I got a little off my last purchase.

Check around seasonal peaks too, like spring or fall. They might have something then, or Black Friday. Haven't seen a specific planner one lately though.

Thinking about getting the 'Homesteading for Beginners' course. How does it compare to Roots and Refuge Farm stuff? Anyone have experience with both?

N Noor Lindqvist 1 month ago
I've watched a bunch of Roots and Refuge videos, which are great for inspiration. But the Homestead and Chill course feels more structured and like a step-by-step guide you can actually follow for specific projects. More hands-on instructions.

They're both good but kinda different vibes. Homestead and Chill is super practical, like 'do this, then this'. Roots and Refuge is more observational, showing you how they do things. Depends if you want a roadmap or a tour, I guess.

how long does it usually take to get your stuff after buying? like the digital downloads, is it instant or does it take a bit to get the email?

T Todd Foster 1 month ago
It's pretty much instant. You get an email with the download link right after purchase.

Super fast. By the time I closed the payment window, the email was already in my inbox, sometimes even in spam so check there!

Hey guys, thinking about getting the sourdough guide. Is it really for total beginners? I've killed like three starters already lol.

G Greg 2 weeks ago
Yeah, it's pretty good! I followed it for my first successful loaf. They walk you through everything, even how to keep your starter alive.

Totally beginner friendly. My friend who literally burns water made a decent loaf with it. Don't worry about it.

Are these ebooks just for reading on a computer or can I print them out if I want to scribble notes in the margins?

D Dan Walsh 1 month ago
Yeah, they're PDFs, so you can totally print them. I always print out the garden planner pages cause I like to write on them.

Most of their stuff is printable. I've got a binder full of their guides actually. Makes it easy to reference in the garden.
